If you want a supercar experience open-top

The Ferrari Portofino is the only true GT convertible in Ibiza. It does 0–100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, the roof folds in 14 seconds at up to 40 km/h, and it looks exactly the way it sounds. This is the car for arriving at Blue Marlin or parking at Marina Botafoch. Ferrari rental in Ibiza starts at €750/day — book at least 6–8 weeks ahead in July and August.

The Porsche 911 Carrera Cabrio is the more versatile choice. It handles Ibiza's mountain roads better, the driving position is more involving, and at €500/day it delivers more driving satisfaction per euro than almost anything on the island. If you want style without supercar pricing

The Range Rover Evoque Cabrio, Mercedes C AMG Cabrio and BMW Serie 4 M Sport Cabrio all sit at €150/day. That's the sweet spot for guests who want an open-top experience but aren't necessarily looking for a lap-timer. The Evoque adds SUV height and brand recognition. The AMG adds sound and punch. The BMW adds refinement and a very clean interior.

All three work well on Ibiza's roads. The Evoque handles gravel beach access tracks better than the others — worth considering if Las Salinas or Cala d'Hort are on the route.

If the budget is the priority

The Mini Cooper Cabrio at €90/day and the Abarth 595 Cabrio at €80/day are both genuinely fun cars for Ibiza. The Abarth in particular — 165 hp in a car that weighs under a tonne — is absurdly quick on the smaller roads. Neither has the presence of the bigger cars, but both give you the open-top experience that makes Ibiza driving what it is.
